On Monday, MG Motor India revealed that its retail sales in March decreased by 23% to 4,648 units as compared to the same month the previous year. As of March 2023, the carmaker had sold 6,051 vehicles.
The automaker reported that IT saw a year-over-year increase in sales of about 14% in FY 2023–2024 compared to FY 2022–2023.
It did not, however, provide the same data.
Due to a postponed holiday season and other circumstances, the automobile industry’s development, notably that of passenger vehicle sales, moderated in March. However, MG Motor India stated in a statement that this trend should gradually improve in the months ahead.
