Passenger Vehicle sales dip slightly in September

Passenger vehicle wholesales in India fell 1 percent year on year to 3,56,752 units in September. In September 2023, businesses dispatched a total of 3,61,717 units to dealers, according to a statement from the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers.

Total two-wheeler sales, however, increased by 16 percent year on year to 20,25,993 units last month, up from 17,49,794 units the previous year, according to the report.

Total three-wheeler wholesales increased by 7% year on year to 79,683 units, up from 74,671 in September 2023, according to SIAM data.
