The government received a dividend payment of ₹2,033 Crore from state-owned PFC on Wednesday for the fiscal year 2023–2024.
According to a statement from the corporation, the dividend was paid in three instalments of ₹554 Crore, ₹832 Crore, and ₹647 Crore.
"PFC gives the Indian government a record-breaking ₹2,033 Crore as an interim dividend for FY24. RK Singh, Minister of Power, New & Renewable Energy, received the interim dividend RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) intimation advice from CMD Parminder Chopra, it stated.
According to a release, PFC has given its shareholders an interim dividend totalling ₹3,630 Crore for the fiscal year 2023–2024, which is the highest sum the company has ever paid out.
