PS5 Slim in 10 Minutes! Blinkit Delivers Sony's New Console

Zomato-owned Blinkit, a quick commerce platform, has partnered with Sony to distribute the PlayStation 5 Slim edition game console in India, which is scheduled to launch on April 5. According to a press release from Blinkit, customers in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru may now take advantage of quick deliveries of the new PS5 Slim versions and controllers in as little as 10 minutes. The collaboration was also verified by Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa in a post on X.

Prior to its introduction, the Japanese electronics behemoth revealed the PlayStation 5 Slim’s pricing in India: ₹44,990 for the Digital Edition and ₹54,990 for the Disc version.

In India, both types are presently offered on a few sites, such as Blinkit. Furthermore, Blinkit will sell the corresponding vertical stand for the new PS5 models as an add-on accessory.

The PlayStation 5 Slim series boasts a streamlined design that takes up 30% less space than its predecessor. Compared to the previous generation, the normal PS5 model with an integrated disc drive has lost 18% of its weight, while the Digital Edition has gained 30% of its weight back.
