RailTel Corporation has received a work order from the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) for infrastructure development valued at ₹170.25 crore. The order includes both supply and services for the infrastructure project, which is set to be completed by November 6, 2025.
Last month, RailTel secured a ₹144.88 crore order from the Gujarat government’s home department for the installation and maintenance of CCTV surveillance systems across various locations. This order, related to surveillance at police stations, is expected to be executed by May 21, 2025.
In its latest September quarter, RailTel reported a 40% increase in revenue from operations, reaching ₹843.49 crore, compared to ₹599.15 crore in the same period last year. The company’s profit after tax (PAT) also rose by over 6%, totaling ₹72.64 crore, up from ₹68.15 crore in the previous year.
For the first half of the fiscal year 2024-25 (H1FY25), RailTel’s revenue from operations grew more than 31%, reaching ₹1,401.6 crore, up from ₹1,066.76 crore. The company’s PAT for the same period increased by over 13%, totaling ₹121.31 crore, compared to ₹106.54 crore in H1FY24. RailTel’s strong financial performance highlights its growth trajectory in the infrastructure and IT services sectors.
