In comparison to the same period last year, Tata Motors reported on Wednesday an 8% increase in total global wholesales, or 3,77,432 units, for the fourth quarter that concluded on March 31, 2024. According to a statement from Tata Motors, global wholesale sales of its passenger cars, including electric vehicles, in Q4 FY24 totaled 1,55,651 units, up 15% from Q4 FY23.
With the exception of its joint venture with Chery Automobiles in China, Jaguar Land Rover’s global wholesales were at 1,10,190 vehicles, up 16% over the same quarter a year earlier, the company reported. Land Rover had wholesales of 96,662 vehicles during the quarter, compared to 13,528 vehicles for Jaguar.
According to the announcement, sales of Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in Q4 FY24 totaled 1,11,591 units, a 6% decrease from Q4 FY23.
