Godrej Agrovet and Provivi Join Forces for Sustainable Farming

Godrej Agrovet Limited (GAVL), a food and agribusiness conglomerate, and Provivi, a global crop protection company, today announced a strategic partnership to provide sustainable pest management solutions specifically designed for Indian rice and maize farmers.

“GAVL would be bringing sustainable solutions to India as part of this partnership. The company will retain exclusive commercialisation rights for the FAW Eco-Dispenser, which targets Fall Armyworm (FAW) in maize in India, and distribute Provivi’s YSB Eco-Dispenser, which is specifically made to manage Yellow Stem Borer (YSB) in rice, according to a media statement from GAVL.

“These pheromone-based technologies will give Indian farmers cutting-edge, eco-friendly pest management tools,” it continued.

Balram Singh Yadav, Managing Director, GAVL, commented on the partnership, saying: “It’s more crucial than ever to equip Indian farmers with cutting-edge, sustainable solutions that boost productivity, while changing climate conditions are causing more pest difficulties.
