The dollar rose 0.1% to 143.30 yen, moving away from the one-month low of 141.75 reached on Friday.

At the closing bell, the BSE Sensex rose by 375.61 points, or 0.46%, to settle at 81,559.54, while the NSE Nifty gained 84.20 points, or 0.34%, to finish at 24,936.40.

The company has allocated a total of 68.75 lakh equity shares at ₹480, the upper end of the price band to anchor investors which aggregates the size to ₹330 crore.

Brent futures rose 78 cents, or 1.1%, to $71.84 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose $1.04, or 1.5%, to end at $68.71.

Spot gold was unchanged at $2,504.98 per ounce. U.S. gold futures ticked up 0.1% to $2,533.70.
