Baroda BNP Paribas Value Fund NFO: Key details you need to know

Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “equity category- value fund”, named as Baroda BNP Paribas Value Fund. This open-ended fund of fund seeks to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in equity and equity-related securities following value investment strategy.

Investment strategy: The Scheme aims to provide long term capital growth by investing in a diversified portfolio of companies that are selected using attributes of value investing. In the medium to long term, the stock prices follow their intrinsic value.

Asset allocation: The Scheme may invest upto 50% of equity assets in equity derivatives instruments as permitted under the SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996 from time to time. The Scheme may invest in foreign securities (including ADR / GDR) upto 35% of the net assets. It may invest remaiing corpus in Units issued by REITs & INvITs and units of mutual fund schemes.

Who should invest?

Investors with very high risk appetite and want to invest for 5 to 7 years in a mutual fund should invest in Baroda BNP Paribas Value Fund.

The NFO is available for subscription from May 17 to May 31. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5000/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
