LIC appoints P. C. Paikray as Chief Risk Officer

Life Insurance Corporation of India informed the bourses that it has appointed P. C. Paikray as Chief Risk Officer (Key Management Person) of the Corporation with effect from April 10, 2023.

P. C. Paikray has been appointed in place of Tablesh Pandey who has taken charge as Managing Director of the Corporation on April 1, 2023. 

In September 1990, Pratap Chandra Paikray commenced his tenure as a Direct Recruit Officer at Life Insurance Corporation of India, and he possesses extensive experience in the field of insurance, both in marketing and administration.

Pratap Chandra Paikray possesses a Bachelor of Science degree, an MBA, and an FIII certification. He has previously held the position of SDM (I/C) in Patna-I and Sambalpur. Additionally, he has served in different capacities in the Central Office, including Secretary (MBAC) and Chief (Investment-MO).

Prior to assuming the role of Executive Director (ERM/CRO), Pratap served as the Chief (ERM).

At around 12.28 PM, LIC was trading at Rs549.70, up by 0.073% against the previous close of Rs 549.30 on NSE.
