Amit Choudhary was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) and a member of the Wipro Executive Board by the technology services and consulting firm Wipro Limited on Thursday.
Choudhary will oversee the activities of the CIO, CISO, and enterprise risk management, as well as global business operations and delivery excellence. He came from Capgemini, where he served as an Executive Committee member and Chief Operating Officer for the Financial Services Business Unit.
Bhanumurthy Ballapuram, the former COO, left the company in July 2021 to become vice president of the Japan and Asia Pacific area at Google Cloud.
