Adani Group Adds 130 MW Wind Power Plant in Gujarat's Kutchh

Adani Wind Energy Kutchh Five Limited (AWEK5L), a subsidiary of Adani Green Energy, has commissioned a 130 MW wind power plant in Gujarat’s Kutchh region.

• The plant has a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) of 130 MW with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) at a tariff of Rs 2.83/kWh.
• Adani Green Energy’s operational wind generation capacity now stands at 1,101 MW, and the total operational renewable generation capacity has reached 8,216 MW.
• The commissioning of the wind power plant aligns with Adani Green Energy’s goal to achieve a renewable portfolio capacity of 45 GW by 2030.
• The plant will be managed by the company’s advanced ‘Energy Network Operation Centre’ (ENOC) platform, ensuring optimal operational performance.
• Adani Green Energy, part of the Adani Group, has a global renewable portfolio of 20.4 GW, including operating, under-construction, and project assets.
• Shares of Adani Green Energy showed a slight increase in early trading, signaling a positive market response to the company’s renewable energy initiatives.
