Edelweiss Multi Asset Allocation Fund NFO: Everything you need to know

Edelweiss Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “hybrid category”, named as Edelweiss Multi Asset Allocation Fund. This open-ended fund provides the investors an opportunity to invest in an actively managed portfolio of multiple asset classes.

Investment strategy: The Scheme proposes to invest across asset classes, in line with the asset allocation mentioned in the SID, with the aim of generating capital appreciation and income for investors. With this aim the Investment Manager will allocate the assets of the Scheme predominantly in Equity & Equity related instruments, Debt & money market instruments, Commodities and in units of REITs & InvITs.

Asset allocation: The Scheme would invest in equity and equity related securities, debt and money market instruments, exchange traded funds and units issued by REITs and InvITs.

Who should invest?

Investors with very high risk appetite and want to invest for 5 to 7 years in a mutual fund should invest in Edelweiss Multi Asset Allocation Fund. 

Risk associated: Very high level of risk.

Benchmark: [Nifty 500 TRI (40%) + Nifty 5 yr Benchmark G-Sec Index (50%) + Domestic Gold Prices (5%) + Domestic Silver Prices (5%).

The NFO is available for subscription from June 5 to June 19. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5000/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
