The firm today announced the opening of its eleventh fulfilment centre in the country, the third in the city of Hyderabad. The new fulfilment centre will focus on enabling rapid commerce in the supermarket category, with technology serving as the backbone in driving efficiency.
With its end-to-end services of fulfilment centres, milk-run transportation, micro-fulfillment centres (dark shops), and last-mile delivery, MLL has quickly built its operational capabilities across India.
The network that the corporation constructed for this segment is the finest in class and is capable of handling high volumes.
These fulfilment centres are located across five cities (Bangalore, Vizag, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, and Kolkata) and serve over 6 lakh units and 15000+ retailers every day.
MLL employs around 1500 individuals through their B2C fulfilment centres.
MLL has been unwavering in its attempts to become more inclusive. At various warehouses around the country, the company actively employs people with disabilities and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Similarly, MLL is closing the gender gap by recruiting more women with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
