Markets end the day in Green

Indian equity markets ended the day in Green today. Nifty 50 closed, up by 35.75 points. Sensex closed, up by 98.84 points. Top Gainers today were Bajaj-Auto, Adani Enterprises, Bharti Airtel. Top Losers today were Wipro, Tata Motors, IndusInd Bank. 

After being in red for much of the day, markets saw steep recovery in the last 2 hours. All the broader market indices ended the day in Green. Good buying demand was seen in some mid-cap stocks. Good buying demand was seen in Realty and FMCG stocks today. Selling pressure was there in some PSU bank stocks.

Reliance Power, Suzlon and Idea were the most traded stocks today at NSE, in terms of volume. HDFC Bank, Adani Enterprises, and ICICI Bank were the most traded stocks in terms of value. 88 stocks touched new 52-week high today at NSE. 13 stocks touched new 52-week low.
