Vedanta Board approves third interim dividend of Rs17.50; Stock trades higher

The Board of Directors of Vedanta Ltd through resolution passed by circulation on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 have approved Third Interim Dividend of Rs17.50 per equity share.

As per the filing, the board has approved the dividend of Rs17.50 per equity share i.e. 1750% on face value of Re1/- per share for the Financial Year 2022-23 amounting to Rs6,505 crore.

The record date for the purpose of payment of dividend is Wednesday, November 30, 2022. The interim dividend will be paid within stipulated timelines as prescribed under law, the company said.

At around 9:16 AM, Vedanta Ltd is currently trading at Rs312.05 per share  up by Rs2 or 0.65% from its previous closing of Rs310.05 per share on the BSE.
