Keeping in with Kokuyo Camlin’s philosophy of Let’s Make Learning Fun; school Principals presented various innovative and new techniques to make learning fun. They were presented with fun techniques for children through paintings on walls; creating paper models; and introducing kids to the fun world of 3D printing and as to how this 3D printing can be made applicable to school work. School Principals were also introduced to the mobile app ‘Genie’ that can be used in connecting parents and teachers thereby getting them to interact on their child’s school activities.
Speaking about the objective of celebrating Principals’ Day, Saumitra Prasad, Chief Marketing Officer, Kokuyo Camlin Ltd, said, “We all know there is a National day for teachers, and though, being partners in progress in the field of education, the Principal’s contribution is not recognized and celebrated enough. With this initiative, Kokuyo Camlin, the leading manufacturer and marketer of educational stationery and colours in the country, is making its humble contribution by honoring Principals. The focus of the event is on spreading knowledge, making learning fun and exposing the invited academics to various means and ways in achieving this.”
This is the second year in succession that Kokuyo Camlin is celebrating Principals’ Day. Last year, Minister of Education, Vinod Tawde inaugurated the event, wherein case studies were presented from innovative experiments from three schools and one lec-dem on the importance of art in education.
More than 100 academicians comprising Principals, Deans, School Trustees, Directors, and Supervisors attended the `Principals’ Day’ event.
