Insilco's Plant will remain shut from June 2, 2016 to June 19, 2016 due to high inventory and low sales volume. The company will also be carrying out routine preventive maintenance and cleaning during this time.

Insilco, a group company of Evonik Industries Germany, is engaged in the manufacture and sales of precipitated silica. The Company produces different grades of precipitated silica, catering to the requirements of customers in different industries.

Insilco Ltd ended at Rs. 21.75, down by Rs. 0.2 or 0.91% from its previous closing of Rs. 21.95 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 22.1 and touched a high and low of Rs. 22.9 and Rs. 21.4 respectively. A total of 41878(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 137.67 crore.
The BSE group 'XT' stock of face value Rs. 10 touched a 52 week high of Rs. 31.55 on 05-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 14.2 on 17-Jun-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 23 and Rs. 21.25 respectively.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.11 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.06 % and 26.83 % respectively.
The stock traded above its 200 DMA.
