PharmEasy lays off more employees

14 Dec 2022 , 02:56 PM

According to a report, PharmEasy has laid off more employees. PharmEasy previously fired  employees from its subsidiary Docon Technologies on June 2022. Earlier this year, the company postponed its IPO. Startups like PharmEasy are reeling under the impact of unprecedented economic disruption caused by 2 years of Covid lockdowns. It has become much more difficult for these companies to raise funding from investors due to economic slowdown in most parts of the world.
The reason for this layoff: PharmEasy is having financial problems, according to a report by Inc42, and as a result, staff layoffs have intensified. According to Inc42, restructuring, socioeconomic difficulties, and the current situation between Russia and Ukraine were the causes of the layoffs.
Employees affected by the layoff: Most employees worked in assistance, quality analytics, and product technology. The number of employees who were let go is unknown.
