Space Matrix, an international, sustainable architecture and interior design firm has emerged as the second largest interior design firm in Asia-Pacific according to the 2011 Top 100 Giants Survey released by Interior Design Magazine.
The Giants Survey was introduced in 2001 by Interior Design Magazine, and is one of the most respected annual reports of the world’s largest interior design firms and is regarded as an industry benchmark. The Interior Design Magazine ranks design firms based on the criteria of design fees, value of projects installed, square footage (of projects), number of design staff, and previous year rankings.
Marking Space Matrix’s maiden entry into this prestigious list, the 32nd place comes a decade since its inception. Space Matrix is one of the only two firms from Asia-Pacific that have found a place in the Global Top 100 List. The organization has also been ranked #7 in the list of ‘Top 10 firms with most international projects’ with eighty percent of its projects outside its home country, Singapore.
“We are gratified to find a place in Interior Design Magazine’s Giant Rankings of the best interior firms in the world, not to mention the second largest in this region” said Anurag Srivastava, Chief Executive Officer, Space Matrix. “These rankings are a result of successful client partnerships and unrelenting focus on adding value to every square feet of work we undertake. We look forward to continued success, consolidating client relationships and producing some of the best design work as we expand around the globe.”
Space Matrix has seven offices across India which together accounted for over 60% of the Rs 350-crore turnover clocked in the last fiscal. Recent projects completed by Space matrix in India include The Axis Bank Headquarter in Mumbai, Kiran Nadar Museum of Arts in Delhi, Suzlon One Earth in Pune, Facebook and Wells Fargo headquarters in Hyderabad and many others.
