Fifty-eight women engineers have been recruited by Cummins for its many manufacturing units and offices across India.
The Cummins College of Engineering for Women (CCEW), Pune, this year, witnessed campus placements for their graduating batch of engineers with leading multi-national companies.
Pleased with the technical knowledge and soft skill competencies demonstrated by the students, major Manufacturing and IT companies like Cummins, Microsoft, Symantec, John Deere, Honeywell, Mindtree, Persistent, Alfa Laval etc.
have offered placements to as much as 72% of the batch during campus recruitment. With recruitment still in progress at the Campus, this number is expected to increase further. The highest package offered so far is Rs. 16 L per annum.
Fifty-eight women engineers have been recruited by Cummins for its many manufacturing units and offices across India. An additional 39 women have been offered jobs by KPIT Cummins Infosystems Ltd.
Commenting on the placements, Dr. Madhuri B. Khambete – Principal of Cummins College of Engineering for Women said, “The number of companies visiting our Campus for recruitment has been increasing substantially over the years.
