CAG appoints statutory auditor for IRCTC for FY21-22

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) informed to exchages that Comptroller & Auditor General of India (C&AG) vide their Letter No./CA.V/COY/CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, RLYCAT(1)/59 dated August 18, 2021 (received through mail dated August 31, 2021), has appointed M/s P R MEHRA & CO, Chartered Accountant(s), New Delhi, as Statutory Auditor of the Company for the financial year 2021-22 under section 139 of the Companies Act, 2013.

“Pursuant to Regulation 30 of Securities and Exchange Board of lndia (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations,2015, this is to inform that, Comptroller & Auditor General of lndia (C&AG) vide their Letter No./CA.V/COY/CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, RLYCAT(1)/59 dated August 18, 2021 (received through mail dated August 31,2021), has appointed M/s P R MEHRA & CO, Chartered Accountant(s), New Delhi, as Statutory Auditor of the Company for the financial year 2021-22 under section 139 of the Companies Act, 2013,” the company said in the BSE filing.

IRCTC ended at Rs2,742.75 down by Rs8.65 or 0.31% from its previous closing of Rs2,751.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs2,755 and touched a high and low of Rs2,766.25 and Rs2,711 respectively.
