After the stupendous success of Mumbai Wallbook, Tata Housing Development Company Limited, in its endeavor to support art and culture initiatives presents Delhi Wallbook, the second chapter in the Wallbook series to paint the Delhi street furniture and express the design element of Delhi Skyline.
The Delhi Wallbook will take place on 24th February at the Delhi University North Campus in the capital. 500 plus graphic artists/ painters will be putting up their expressions on the more than 1 km long stretch outside the Delhi University wall with the theme – DESIGN THE CHANGE. The competition will start at 8am and would go on till 1pm. Participants will be provided with basic colours to paint & will also be allocated a section of wall on registration. Artists can participate individually or in groups.
Speaking about their association with The Delhi Wallbook, Mr. Rajeeb Dash, Head of Marketing at Tata Housing said, this is the second chapter of the wall book series. Art and Culture is always been integral part of our project design so we are excited to be part of this creative expression.
Expressing his views on the event, Sunil Kutty Menon, founder Delhi Wallbook said, “We firmly believe Art as a tool and a freedom of expression will help DESIGN THE CHANGE for the betterment of society plagued with social evils. It would also awaken the responsible caretakers of the society by reminding them time & again their deliverables whenever they cross the Delhi University”
Painters of all genres will participate in the event and get a chance to interact with other experienced artists. This event will provide budding artists a chance to
create & showcase their work out in the open. These artists will be crafting magic on the walls as their canvas. Through this, they will convey the transformation they want to make for a better tomorrow. The activity will be judged by eminent people from the Industry.
The Delhi WallBook is an initiative by Brand Promotions India Pvt Ltd in association with Tata Housing to bring professional and amateur artists on one platform to create an expression for a better tomorrow.
