“We all know the challenges facing Indian MBA education rather well. The first four Indian Management Conclaves held between 2010-2013 had extensively highlighted the key issues such as policy conundrum, miss-match in demand & supply of MBA seats, lack of Employability of MBA graduates, and a focus on delivering quality education that have eroded the credibility of Indian MBA education. Indeed, a lot needs to be done – at a macro, policy level. However, we all need to first do the doable – take actions which are within our ‘Circle of Influence’, and not wait for things to settle down”, says Amit Agnihotri, Convener, Indian Management Conclave & Chairman, MBAUniverse.com.

Launched in 2010, IMC has established its presence as India's biggest & most reputed MBA education conference in the last few years, turning out to be a prestigious platform for discussion on the challenges faced by the MBA education in India. The key highlight of the conclave this year will be the release of ‘Vision 2025 for Indian Management Education’ by Dr H Chaturvedi, Alternate President, Education Promotion Society of India (EPSI) and Mr Amit Agnihotri, Convener, Indian Management Conclave (IMC), which will talk about the future of MBA education in India in 2025.

Agnihotri further added, “The aim this year is to help bring the regulators and B-schools together and most importantly develop a concrete, clear, documented vision for the future of Indian MBA education.”
