Tree House falls 3.2% after Q1 net loss

The company recorded net loss at Rs.45.4 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 as compared to Rs.18 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015.

Tree House Education & Accessories Ltd is currently trading at Rs. 38.7, down by Rs. 1.3 or 3.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 40 on the BSE. The company recorded net loss at Rs.45.4 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 as compared to Rs.18 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015.

The scrip opened at Rs. 40.4 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 40.7 and Rs. 36.9 respectively. So far 1501415(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 169.24 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 437.5 on 20-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 35.3 on 22-Jul-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 41.35 and Rs. 35.3 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 20.54 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.84 % and 56.99 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading below its 200 DMA.
