48 stocks hit 52-week low

On Thursday, the benchmark BSE Sensex finally ended with a significant gain of 271 points at 28,930.

A total of 48 stocks reported a fresh 52-week low on BSE today. Among these stocks included Amtek India, Autoline Industries, Oswal Chemicals, Everonn Education, GMDC, GRP, Linc Pen, Menon Bearings, Precot Meridian, PSL, Shree Ganesh Jewellery House and Venus Remedies.

On Thursday, the benchmark BSE Sensex finally ended with a significant gain of 271 points at 28,930, and in the process, also reversed its five-day losing streak.

The NSE Nifty touched a high of 8,787, and eventually ended with a gain of 76 points at 8,776.

The India VIX (Volatility) index declined 2.5 per cent to 14.75.
