Andrew Yule & Company reports consolidated loss of Rs16.56cr in Q4FY21; Stock dips 7%

Revenue from operations jumped to Rs56.23cr in Q4FY21 from Rs40.83cr in Q4FY20.

Andrew Yule & Company Limited on Wednesday reported a consolidated loss at Rs16.56cr in Q4FY21 against a loss of Rs30.34cr in Q4FY20. The company’s revenue from operations jumped to Rs56.23cr in Q4FY21 from Rs40.83cr in Q4FY20.

For the year FY21, net profit was at Rs35.13cr compared to a loss of 21.68cr in FY20. Revenue from operations rose to Rs328.39cr in FY21 compared to Rs297.08cr in FY20.

At around 12.07 PM, Andrew Yule & Company Ltd was trading at Rs28.70 per piece down by Rs2.05 or 6.67% from its previous closing of Rs30.75 per piece on the BSE.

“The impact of Government lockdown due to Covid-19 pandemic was temporary. As result of lockdown/restrictions, production could not be carries out till approvals from local government authorities was received,” company said in a filing on Wednesday.
