BSE StAR MF processes 29.90 lakh transactions in a single day on April 11

Continuing its stellar performance, India's largest regulated Exchange-based online Mutual Funds Distribution platform created an all-new record.

With all mutual funds and distributors channelizing their transactions through online platforms, BSE StAR MF has registered 29.90 lakh transactions on 11th April 2022 outdoing its previous single-day record of 26.65 lakh transactions (on 10th January 2022) a remarkable growth by 12%.

BSE StAR MF, also set its highest monthly record of 1.97 Cr transaction in Mar’22 as against its previous best of 1.87 Cr transactions in Jan’22.

In FY 21-22 BSE StAR MF has processed 18.47 Cr transactions as compared to 9.38 Cr during FY 20-21.

Commenting on this, Smt. Snehal Dixit, Business Head-Mutual Funds BSE StAR MF said, “Reaching new heights by adding many more transactions is possible since mutual fund has become a product of the masses, due to simplicity and diversification of different asset classes it is occupying mindshare of investors of all ages.

Distribution is spreading due to digitization, area and the scope for distributors which is increasing with new investors entering the MF market. There would be interesting times ahead for BSE StAR MF platform which is poised to grow with opportunities.

During the financial year 2021-22, BSE StAR MF has put up 97% growth to reach 18.47 Cr transactions and Rs81,350 crore as net equity inflow for mutual funds.

Some of the Key Highlights are:
Turnover:

- Annual Turnover during FY 21-22 was Rs4,54,023 crore.
- For March ‘22 was Rs42,976 crore, compared to Rs41,339 crore. on February ‘22, an increase of 4%
- For March ‘22 was Rs42,976 crore, compared to Rs31,556 crore. on Mar ‘21, an incredible growth of 36%
- For Q4 FY 21-22 was Rs1,22,135 crore as compared to Rs91,696 crore for Q4 FY 20-21, an excellent increase by 33%

Net Equity Inflow:
- For Mar ’22 it was Rs6,860 crore compared to Rs7,302 crore for Feb ’22
- For Mar ’22 it was Rs6,860 crore compared to Rs4,233 crore for Mar ’21, an incredible growth of 62%
- During Q4 of FY 21-22 is Rs22,068 crore compared to Rs8,079 crore for Q4 FY 20-21 an increase of 173%

Transactions:
- Annual Transactions increased rapidly by 97% from 18.47 crore in FY 21-22 as compared to 9.38 crore in FY 20-21.
- For March ‘22 was 1.96 crore an increase of 8% as compared to 1.82 crore for February ‘22.
- For March ‘22 was 1.96 crore has significantly increased by 79% as compared to 1.10 crore for March’21.
- For Q4 FY 21-22 was 5.65 crore as compared to 2.95 crore for Q4 FY 20-21, an excellent increase by 92%

SIP Book Size:
- StAR MF’s total active SIP book size stands at 1.20 crore as on 31st March 2022
- Platform has registered 2.72 crore SIPs as on 31st March 2022
- For Mar’22 the platform registered 10.89 lakh new SIPs amounting to Rs250 crore.
- For Feb’22 the platform registered 9.07 lakh new SIPs amounting to Rs209 crore

MFD’s:
- Distributor network has seen multi-fold increase to 72,252 (as on March 2022).

BSE StAR MF App (StAR MF Mobility) has processed over 56.79 lakh transactions since its launch, amounting to Rs20,321 Crore till March 2022. The app was launched to help Mutual Fund Distributors register clients on real-time basis and execute paperless transactions. Because of the superior support system and distribution reach of BSE StAR MF, the platform has grown exponentially with network of over 72,252 distributors in India
