Dr. Jorg Nohl has been appointed as an Independent Director to the board of JK Tyre and Industries Limited, a tyre manufacturer, effective November 21, 2023.

The company’s exchange filing states, ‘We have to inform that Dr. Jorg Nohl (DlN: 10392379) has been duly appointed as an Additional Director in the category of Independent Director, for a term of five consecutive years w.e.f. November 21, 2023, subject to requisite approval of the Members of the Company,’ in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (Listing Regulations).

Dr. Jorg Nohl, who is 67 years old, has worked for Continental AG for more than 30 years, with more than 20 of those years spent as a member of the Senior Executive Group.

He holds a doctorate in economics and social science from the University of Kassel and is a mechanical engineer from the Technical University of Hanover.
