Gayatri Projects 7.5cr shares to be subscribed by US based Interups; Stock ends 6% lower

The definitive agreement has been executed amongst Gayatri Projects Limited, its promoters, and Interups Inc. USA (proposed Investor) to subscribe to the securities of the company, the company said in a filing on Friday.

In terms of the said agreement, the proposed Investor, through its subsidiaries, affìliates/ or any specific purpose entities or fund vehicles floated for the specific purpose, has proposed to subscribe to the securities of the Company in several tranches wherein they have agreed to subscribe to 7.5cr Equity Shares of the Company in First phase subject to the approval of shareholders and other approvals as may be necessary.

The company on August 5 had proposed 75,000,000 number of Equity Shares to be issued at a price of Rs451- per Equity Share arrived aggregating to Rs337.5cr on preferential issue.

"The investor has proposed further investment in the Company in further tranche/phase subject to successful completion of due diligence and approval of the shareholders and regulators/agencies," company said in a filing on Friday.

Gayatri Projects Ltd ended at Rs41.50 per piece down by Rs2.7 or 6.11% from its previous closing of Rs44.20 per piece on the BSE.
