Heranba Industries appoints Ajit Gujral as head of strategic development

Heranba Industries Limited announced the appointment of Ajit Gujral as Head of Strategic Development for the Crop Protection Business of the company.

Gujral's responsibilities include strategic development of the company’s existing business in the B2B / BRAND / P2P segment.

In addition to the above-mentioned role, Gujral will provide assistance in the areas of Patent Filing, Product Registration (Domestic + Export), and the introduction of new products in consultation with the R&D department. He will also be a member of the company's public relations team, which will help the company's market visibility.

Gujral is a Haryana Agricultural University postgraduate in agronomy (HAU). In 1984, he began his career with a prestigious organisation, Hoechst India. Gujral has a deep understanding of the market and customer needs based on his 38 years of diverse experience.

He has many patented formulations and product processes under his belt, adding value to the organisations he has served. During his previous assignment, he was heavily involved in global product strategy and international expansion as the company expanded into new markets.

At around 1.37 PM, Heranba Industries was trading 0.17% lower at Rs518, against previous close of Rs518.90 on NSE. The counter hit intraday high and low of Rs525 and Rs516.30 respectively.
