Indian equity markets rise further

Indian equity markets rose further today. Markets are now factoring in a lower interest rate hike by US Federal Reserve tomorrow. Nifty 50 ended, up by 52.30 points. Sensex ended, up by 144.61 points. Top Gainers were Hindalco, JSW Steel and ONGC. Top Losers were Nestle India, ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel. 

Good buying demand was seen in many Mid-cap and Small- cap stocks today. Good buying demand was also seen in many Realty, Metal and IT stocks. Selling pressure was seen in FMCG stocks. Yes Bank, Idea and UCO Bank were the most traded stocks today, in terms of volume, at NSE. Yes Bank, UCO Bank and HDFC Bank were the most traded stocks today, in terms of value. 94 stocks touched 52-week high today at NSE. 20 stocks touched 52-week low.
