On Wednesday, Indian IT major Infosys Ltd and us chipmaker NVIDIA announced an expansion of their strategic relationship with the goal of assisting ‘enterprises worldwide drive productivity gains with generative AI applications and solutions.’
Through the expanded partnership, Nvidia AI Enterprise’s ecosystem of models, tools, runtimes, and GPU systems will be brought to Infosys Topaz – an AI-first set of services, solutions, and platforms that accelerate business value through the use of generative AI technologies.
‘Through this integration, Infosys will develop offerings that customers can use to easily integrate generative AI into their businesses,’ the companies stated in a joint statement.
Furthermore, Infosys intends to establish a Nvidia Centre of Excellence, where it would train and certify 50,000 of its workers on Nvidia AI technology in order to give generative AI knowledge to its extensive network of customers across industries.
Earlier this month, the US chipmaker announced a collaboration with Reliance and Tata to advance AI in India.
The companies will collaborate to build AI infrastructure that is more powerful than the fastest supercomputer in India today, stated the companies in a joint statement.
