Jute shares end on a mixed note; Gloster up 1.6%

The government raised the minimum support price (MSP) of raw jute by 18.5% to Rs.3,200 per quintal for 2016-17 in order to boost production.

Shares of jute products manufacturers closed on a mixed  note on BSE. The government raised the minimum support price (MSP) of raw jute by 18.5% to Rs.3,200 per quintal for 2016-17 in order to boost production.

Gloster Ltd gained 1.6% to Rs.380. The scrip opened at Rs. 432 and touched a high and low of Rs. 432 and Rs. 341.5 respectively. A total of 714(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 195.76 crore. The BSE group 'XC' stock of face value Rs. 10 touched a 52 week high of Rs. 768 on 29-Dec-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 166 on 22-Apr-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 414.9 and Rs. 371.2 respectively.

Cheviot Co slipped 0.8% to Rs.551 on BSE.  The scrip opened at Rs. 546 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 573 and Rs. 545 respectively. So far 2576(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 250.53 crore.

The BSE group 'XC' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1070 on 10-Dec-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 329 on 26-Mar-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 604 and Rs. 545 respectively.
