LTIMindtree Pioneers Quantum-Safe VPN in London, Fortifying Data Against Future Threats

LTIMindtree, a global technology consulting and digital solutions company, has introduced a state-of-the-art Quantum-Safe Virtual Private Network (VPN) at its London premises. This initiative represents a significant step toward quantum-secure communications, safeguarding data transmission from potential ‘harvest now, decrypt later’ threats. The Quantum-Safe VPN utilizes Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) within a live network, incorporating quantum-based key generation and out-of-band key delivery. The chosen Post-Quantum Cryptography algorithms are on track for standardization by NIST, enhancing the security and integrity of encrypted data.

In collaboration with partners Quantum Xchange and Fortinet, leaders in quantum-safe communication solutions and global cybersecurity, respectively, LTIMindtree has implemented this cutting-edge VPN platform. Quantum Xchange provides quantum hardware and software for key generation, distribution, and management, while Fortinet’s FortiGate firewall integrates quantum-safe keys with VPN protocols. LTIMindtree’s expertise ensures the successful operation of the Quantum-Safe VPN link across its active network.
