Shares of MT Educare soared by 16% in the afternoon trade on Monday as the company posted operational revenues of Rs5,816 lakh.
The company posted EBITDA of Rs827.9 lakh, a jump of 12% over the previous quarter.
Profit after tax grew to Rs115.26 lakh for Q2FY19, a 37.2% rise over previous quarter’s PAT. Profit before tax was Rs255cr, a whopping 892% increase over last quarter.
MT Educare is an India based education company headquartered in Mumbai.
It is one of the leading educational support and coaching center providers for school, especially science and commerce streams, across Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Assam, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat.
MT Educare Ltd is currently trading at Rs53.35 up by Rs6.75 or 14.48% from its previous closing of Rs46.60 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs47.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs55.90 and Rs47.10 respectively. So far 3,47,359 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter.
