Bajaj Auto Ltd (BJAUT) Expectations for Q4FY18E* (standalone numbers):
  • Revenue: Rs6,650cr; up 36% yoy led by 33% yoy volume growth and 3% yoy realization growth. Better realization on the back of greater proportion of high displacement motorcycles to the overall mix.
  • EBITDA: Rs1,297cr; up 43% yoy;
  • EBITDA margin: 19.5%; contraction of 344bps yoy; a better product mix (greater proportion of high displacement motorcycles) will be offset by input cost pressures and lower proportion of exports to the overall volume mix (43bps yoy lower).
  • PAT: Rs1,047cr; up 31% yoy

Ashok Leyland Ltd (ALL) Expectations (Standalone) for Q4FY18E*:
  • Revenue: Rs8,854cr; up 34% yoy, led by 23% yoy volume growth and 9% yoy realization growth. ALL is expected to benefit from better net pricing; a combination of lower discounts and BS-IV related increase in product prices. Volume growth for the quarter was 15% yoy for M&HCVs and 59% yoy for LCVs as the overloading ban got implemented in more states.
  • EBITDA: Rs1,065cr; up 46% yoy
  • EBITDA margin: 12%; expansion of 99bps yoy; strong volume to lead to improved operating leverage.
  • PAT (before EO): Rs638cr; down 21% yoy. Lower PAT since bottom-line in Q4FY17 was aided by a one-time tax credit on the acquisition of Hinduja Foundries.

Ashok Leyland Ltd is currently trading at Rs153.65 down by Rs0.75 or 0.49% from its previous closing of Rs154.40 on the BSE.

Tata Chemicals Ltd is currently trading at Rs729.85 down by Rs13.35 or 1.8% from its previous closing of Rs743.20 on the BSE.

Inox Wind Ltd
is currently trading at Rs100.30 up by Rs2 or 2.03% from its previous closing of Rs98.30 on the BSE.
