Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL) said on Monday that it had added 1.4 GW of group captive projects to its portfolio in India during the previous six months.
TPREL claimed that with the inclusion of these group captive projects, its total renewables capacity will reach 7,961 MW by October 2023, according to a company release.
The portfolio includes 3,755 MW of projects in various stages of development, according to the company. Its operating capacity of 4,206 MW includes 3,200 MW of solar installations and 1,006 MW of wind projects.
TPREL has built 1.4 GW of group captive capacity in the last six months (June-November), according to the announcement. This accomplishment is the outcome of the signing of Power Delivery Agreements (PDA) with numerous businesses and segments, according to the company.
TPREL, a Tata Power company, is a significant developer of renewable energy projects that it owns, runs, and maintains (including solar, wind, hybrid, round-the-clock, peak, floating solar, and storage systems, including battery storage).
