Unichem Lab stock zooms 3% after receiving USFDA approval for Carbamazepine Tablets

Unichem Laboratories Limited has announced that it has received ANDA approval for its Carbamazepine Tablets USP, 200 mg from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to market a generic version of TEGRETOL (Carbamazepine) Tablet, 200 mg of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp.

Carbamazepine Tablets are indicated for use as an anticonvulsant drug and in the treatment of the pain related to true trigeminal neuralgia. The product will be commercialized from Unichem’s plant located at Goa.

At around 11:45 AM, Unichem Laboratories Ltd is currently trading at Rs293.45 per share up by Rs8.55 or 3% from its previous closing of Rs284.90 per share on the BSE.
