UTI Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “Secotral category”, named as UTI Innovation Fund. This open-ended fund intends to provide medium to long term capital appreciation through investment primarily in growth and innovation oriented equity and equity related instruments.
Investment strategy: The innovation framework that the scheme uses focuses on three key aspects – businesses that are innovative and can deliver goods or services in a way that enables improvement in productivity of the end consumer (this aims at reducing friction in the way that the good or service is consumed) or it creates environmental impact or creates social impact.
Asset allocation: The scheme will predominantly invest Domestic equity and equity related securities including convertible bonds and debentures and warrants etc. carrying the right to obtain equity shares.

Investors with very high risk appetite and want to invest for 5 to 7 years to diversify the portfolio should invest in UTI Innovation Fund.

The NFO is available for subscription from September 25 to October 9. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5000/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
