L&T Construction Bags Multi-Crore Orders for Projects in Oman, Assam, and Gujarat

Larsen and Toubro (L&T) revealed a series of significant orders on Wednesday, March 27, obtained by its buildings and factories vertical within L&T Construction, with a cumulative value ranging between ₹2,500 Crore to ₹5,000 Crore from global and domestic markets.

Orders falling within this range are categorized as ‘large’ orders by L&T.

One notable project secured by L&T involves the construction of the 165-bed Al Namaa General Hospital in Oman, commissioned by the Ministry of Health of the Sultanate of Oman. Scheduled to be completed within 30 months, the project includes civil structures, MEP services, medical equipment installation, finishing works, and external development.

On the domestic front, L&T Construction acquired a contract for constructing the Maa Kamakhya Temple Access Corridor in Assam, from the state’s Public Works Department. This turnkey project encompasses the construction of various facilities such as a multi-utility building, pilgrim management block, and access corridor, along with finishing works, MEP services, and external development.

Moreover, L&T Construction secured an order from a subsidiary of a prominent paint manufacturing company for the construction of a polymer manufacturing plant in Gujarat. The scope includes civil, structural, and architectural activities alongside external development works.  

Additionally, L&T Construction obtained an order for civil, structural, and architectural works for a solar glass manufacturing plant, also situated in Gujarat.
