Early trading sees rise in the prices of gold; drop in silver's

In early trade on Thursday, the price of gold climbed by Rs 220 per 10 kilos (24-carat), selling for 54,000. Silver prices today decreased by Rs. 500 per kg to Rs. 65,500 per kg. The GoodReturns website reports that ten grams of 22-carat gold were trading at Rs 49,500, a rise of Rs 200 from yesterday’s close.

Price of 22 and 24-carat gold:

Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Kerala, and Pune: The price of 10 grams of gold 24-carat and 22-carat were selling at Rs 54,000 and Rs 49,500
Delhi: The cost of 24- and 22-carat gold sells at Rs 54,150 and Rs 49,650. 
Chennai: The price of 10 grams of 24 and 22-carat gold was Rs 54,720 and Rs 50,160

Price of 1 kg of silver:

Delhi and Mumbai: The cost of 1 kg of silver was Rs 65,500
Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad: Silver traded at Rs 71,000 per kg
