On Tuesday (28-06-2022), the price of gold increased, with 10 grams of 24 karat gold trading at Rs 51,980 and 10 grams of 22 karat gold at Rs 47,650. Tuesday saw a little increase in silver prices as well; one kilogram of the metal now costs Rs 60,300.
Meanwhile, in the US, gold prices decreased slightly on Monday as rising rates put pressure on the metal, while investors kept an eye on the European Central Bank’s meeting in Portugal for any hints about potential policy changes.
According to the website good returns, 10 grams of 24-carat gold are now selling for Rs 51,980 in Delhi, Kolkata, and Bangalore. In the meantime, 10 grams of 22-carat gold are going for Rs 47,650 in Bangalore, Kolkota, and Delhi.
On Tuesday, the prices of 10 grams of both 24- and 22-carat gold are marginally higher in Chennai, selling at Rs 52,030 and Rs 47,700, respectively. One kilogram of silver is now selling for Rs 60,300 in locations like Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkota, compared to Rs 66,000 in Chennai.
