Accel acquires 26% stake in cyber security company 'Secure lnteli Technologies'

Accel Limited has announced that the company has acquired 26% stake in Secure lnteli technologies Pvt Ltd (formerly Biz Carta Technologies), a leading cyber security consulting and services company based in Bangalore with operations and customers in USA, Singapore, and Australia.

The board meeting held on Wednesday has taken on records the transaction. This strategic investment is in line with the company’s stated objective of expanding its IT security services portfolio to offer end to end Cyber Security solutions to it’s customers. The company will be setting up a Global Security Operations Centre in Thiruvananthapuram as part of it’s expansion plan.

N R Panicker, Chairman and Managing Director of Accel Group stated that the strategic relationship between both organizations would bring out the best-of-breed technology capabilities to power the state-of-the-art Global Cyber Intelligence Centre supervised 24/7 by industry best security experts who monitor deep, dark and surface web for cyber-attacks on businesses and protect against adversaries.

SECUREINTELI has designed and deployed proprietary next-generation software platforms to provide advanced managed cyber security services from its Global Cyber Intelligence Centre.

At around 3:21 PM, Accel stocks trading at Rs28.60 per piece higher by 2.88% on Sensex.
