Ascendion boosts India presence with investment in engineering and product talent

Ascendion, a full-service digital engineering firm based in New Jersey, is looking to expand its presence in India.

The company employs approximately 6,000 people worldwide, with approximately 2,000 of them based in India, with offices in Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. It intends to hire another 1,000 people in India.

The company has a flexible work policy and is also reaching out to other sources of talent, such as mothers returning to work after a career break.

More than half of India’s workforce is based in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. To attract more talent from such cities, the company has implemented an internal double referral bonus.

It has formed a virtual community called ‘Circles’ of over 2000 people. This real-time, knowledge-based engagement model for talent in India and around the world assists in connecting, retaining, and engaging employees in a globally distributed and remote model.
