Ashirwad Steels -; Industries to sell Jamshedpur situated sponge iron plant for Rs15cr

Ashirwad Steels & Industries Ltd has informed to the exchanges regarding sale of sponge iron plant situated in Jamshedpur.

As per regulatory filing, the board of directors of the company in their meeting on Thursday have decided to sell company’s sponge iron plant, situated at Adityapur Industrial Estate, Phase V , Ghamaria, Jamshedpur, along with its Assets and Liabilities, on a slump sale basis and as a going concern and on As is where is and whatever it is basis to M/s Bankura Steel Private Limited, based on the written binding offer of this purchaser company, for a lump sum consideration value of Rs15cr.

At around 9:41 AM, Ashirwad Steels & Industries was trading at Rs18.40 per share up by Rs0.3 or 1.66% on the BSE.
