Aurobindo Pharma clarifies on news item; stock trades lower

Aurobindo Pharma informed the stakeholders and exchanges that the Company has already disclosed to the stock exchanges that its Board of Directors constituted a Committee of Independent Directors for comprehensive evaluation of various alternatives/options including demerger, for restructuring of Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Eugia Pharma Specialties Limited, focused on sterile / injectables, oncology, and hormonal products and recommend to the Board of Directors of the Company in the ensuing meeting for further discussion and decision.

So, there is no further information that needs to be disclosed.

It further stated that all the material information, that may have a bearing on the operation/performance of the Company which includes all price sensitive information under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (“Listing Regulations”), have always been disclosed by the Company, and shall continue to do so.

Aurobindo Pharma Ltd is currently trading at Rs715.20 down by Rs4.5 or 0.63% from its previous closing of Rs719.70 on the BSE.
