Axis Bank allots 59,917 equity shares under ESOP; Stock dips ~1%

Axis Bank has informed that the Bank has allotted 59,917 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each of the Bank on August 9, 2022 pursuant to exercise of stock options under its ESOP Scheme.

As per the filing, the paid up share capital of the Bank has accordingly increased from Rs. 614,30,29,462 (307,15,14,731 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each) to Rs. 614,31,49,296 (307,15,74,648 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each).

At around 3:15 PM, Axis Bank was currently trading at Rs739.40 per share down by Rs6.35 or 0.85% from its previous closing of Rs745.75 per share on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs746 and has touched a high and low of Rs747.85 and Rs735.80 respectively so far today. The current market cap of the company is Rs2,29,058.21 crore.
