Axis Bank and Shriram Finance to collaborate for co-lending through Yubi

Private sector lenders, Axis Bank and Shriram Finance have announced partnership for co-lending model through Yubi Co.Lend platform . The partnership will offer secured MSME loans and home loans to low and middle class segment borrowers in rural and semi-urban regions.

The joint statement of both the companies said that the partnership will provide the financial expertise of Axis Bank, and loan processing technology of SHFL to assess the credit profile of borrowers and provide them loans at competitive interest rates.

The partnership will cater to potential customers who are either new to credit or untapped by larger institutions and build a secured loan book, it said, adding, the collaboration will leverage the tech platform, Yubi to process loans seamlessly as per the co-lending guidelines.
