Bajaj Auto’s exports fell 38% last month to 1,26,935 units, compared to 2,03,273 units in February 2022, according to a stock exchange filing on Wednesday.
Its total wholesales fell by 11% year-on-year to 2,80,226 units in February.
Exports of two-wheelers fell 37% to 1,15,021 units in February, down from 1,82,814 units the previous month.
In February 2022, the Pune-based company delivered 3,16,020 units to its dealers. Its total domestic sales increased by 36% to 1,53,291 units last month, as compared with 1,12,747 units in the year-ago period.
Domestic two-wheeler wholesales increased by 25% to 1,20,335 units, up from 96,523 units the previous year.
Total commercial vehicle wholesales increased 22% to 44,870 units in February, up from 36,683 units the previous month.
Following this development, Bajaj Auto was trading 1.69% higher at Rs3,723.10 per piece, against the previous close of Rs3,661.20 on NSE. The counter touched an intraday high and low of Rs3,730 and Rs3,636.90 respectively.
